Data protection
What happens to my data?+
Member data is processed confidentially, for specified purposes and according to the principle of data minimisation. Required data may be processed for admission, member administration, identity checks and statutory documentation. Final categories, legal bases, recipients and retention periods will be listed after the system review.
Can I remain anonymous as a member or during inspections?+
No. Statutory identity and membership checks apply to admission and transfer. Personal transfer records are retained for five years and must be transmitted electronically to the competent authority on request. Only the annual transmission for evaluation purposes is anonymised; the underlying records and regulatory inspections are not anonymous.
What data-protection requirements apply to service providers?+
Service providers must meet the applicable GDPR requirements. Data-processing agreements, technical and organisational measures, subprocessors, storage locations and possible third-country transfers must be reviewed and documented before launch. The provider’s registered office is not the sole selection criterion.
What data-protection rights do I have?+
Subject to the statutory conditions, GDPR rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Statutory documentation and retention duties may restrict erasure and objection.
Association and membership
Does AVK Club refer to another organisation?+
No. According to the association, AVK Club is the short name of Anbauvereinigung für Kannabis e.V. The exact registered spelling must be checked against the register extract before publication.
Where does the AVK Club operate?+
According to the current association information, the operating location is Goerzallee 311 in Berlin-Zehlendorf. Member opening hours are Thursday to Saturday, 17:00–19:00. Access and transfer are subject to statutory and internal requirements.
What is the AVK Club’s legal status?+
Registration as an association and permission under section 11 KCanG are separate forms of evidence. A specific permission status will only be published after authority, date, reference number, duration and territorial scope have been checked against the official decision.
From what age is admission possible?+
The association limits admission to people who have reached the age of 21. This is an internal requirement.
How are contributions structured?+
The current draft uses the new association information: a one-off €50 admission fee, a €50 annual contribution and a quantity-based contribution of €8 per gram without a twelve-month quantity commitment or €6 per gram in the annual model with at least 25 grams per month for twelve months. The published documents currently contain different values and must be updated before publication.
What quantities may be transferred to members?+
For members aged 21 and over, statutory maximum limits are 25 grams per calendar day and 50 grams per calendar month. These limits do not create an entitlement to a specific quantity.
Can I pause my membership?+
The annual contribution itself is not paused. Binding details are governed by the applicable contribution rules.
Can I participate in and learn about collective cultivation?+
Active member participation in collective, non-commercial cultivation or directly related activities is part of membership. Scope, tasks, guidance and documentation are published only in line with the valid statutes and membership information.
Do I need a prescription as a member?+
No medical prescription is required for the transfer regulated for a cultivation association. This is not the dispensing of medical cannabis. Transfer is only personal to members and subject to statutory and internal requirements.
Which varieties are currently available?+
G-Licious, Blueberry, London Pound Mint and Zwiz-Guava are currently available. According to the current association information, the other eight listed varieties are expected from September 2026. Status: 22 August 2026.
